Panasonic Europe has introduced a new payroll and hosted HR system which will be available to five Panasonic companies based across three UK offices.
The system, called ResourceLink Aurora and supplied by NorthgateArinso, is accessible through a web browser and does not require any on-premise footprint.
Richard Mills, head of UK HR and facilities for Panasonic Europe, said: “Deploying ResourceLink Aurora in the UK is a key step towards realising our vision for efficient HR delivery at Panasonic. The new unified HR and payroll solution will enable the sharing of information between the two functional areas.
“Additionally, the rich functionality will help to deliver improved services – overall, this promises to bring us significant savings.”
Following the implementation of the system, Mills plans to extend Panasonic’s use of ResourceLink Aurora to include flexible benefits and self-service HR during 2010.
