Finalists of the Employee Benefits Awards 2015 demonstrated that they really listened to employees to give scope and flexibility to pick benefits that suit their lifestyles, said Toria McCahill, head of reward at Dentsu Aegis, in an interview with Clare Bettelley, associate editor at Employee Benefits.
McCahill added that there were a lot of themes in packages which focused on flexibility and diversity because of the ageing workforce and the millennial employees that are coming into organisations.
“For me, the most exiting and motivational benefit I saw really focused on attracting, retaining and engaging employees,” she said. “It was really about the benefits being offered and not having a static package anymore.
“Winning entries showed and demonstrated they listen to employees.”
The 2015 winners will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 12 June.
