Wholesaler Parfetts is to award its workforce a 4% sales bonus following another record year for turnover.
The employee-owned business operates depots in Aintree, Anfield, Birmingham, Halifax, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Sommercoates and Stockport. Due to its employee ownership model, Parfetts reinvests profits into its people and infrastructure.
The sales bonus was the same figure as last year’s, and was a result of its increased turnover of £733 million, up from £696 million in 2024. During the previous financial year, the firm saw an 8% increase in turnover from £605 million, when it achieved a 4.7% rise on like-for-like sales.
In October last year, the firm paid a 12% profit share bonus to employees, with another distribution planned for later this year.
Guy Swindell, joint managing director of Parfetts, said: “Our people are the heartbeat of Parfetts. It’s their hard work, passion and commitment that fuels our growth. The employee ownership model gives us a powerful platform to reward that effort, attract great talent and deliver the best service to our retailers.”
