The deadline for the Employee Benefits Awards 2022, in association with Aon, has been extended for a final time until midnight on Monday 24 January to give HR, reward and benefits professionals one very last chance to enter and win recognition for their achievements.
As the previous entry deadline of Friday 14 January got closer, the Employee Benefits team realised that some people might need more time to prepare their entries for these prestigious awards. So the decision was made to extend the entries deadline by 10 days to give everyone the opportunity to craft a perfect entry.
The Employee Benefits Awards, which is now in its 20th year, is considered to be the event of the year for the reward, benefits and HR community. It was designed to recognise excellence and celebrate the organisations, teams and individuals who have made a significant difference through their reward and benefits strategies.
This year, 22 categories are available to enter, spanning a variety of aspects of employee benefits including financial wellbeing, pensions, healthcare, employee engagement and mental health. Entries are open to in-house HR, reward and benefits professionals, teams and departments from any type of organisation operating outside the employee benefits space.
Two new awards have been introduced for this year: Best Benefits to support Menopause, Fertility or Pregnancy; and Best New Benefit to Support Employees Post-Pandemic.
For the former category, judges will be looking for a benefits offering that supports staff with their menopause, fertility or pregnancy journey, while the latter will recognise an organisation that has offered the most effective new employee benefit to help staff following the global healthcare crisis.
The winners for 2022 will be announced at the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party, which is set to be held in June. This must-attend event for any HR professional will give entrants and industry professionals the opportunity to network and celebrate best practice and innovation in an iconic location.
