Something for the weekend: Business credit reports and information provider Creditsafe has taken its UK and Ireland workforce on a festival retreat to celebrate its ongoing success.

The team went to Fforest Farm in Cilgerran, Wales for a festival that lasted for several days. Its aim was to bring together team members from across all of its departments for a few days of fun and celebration, and to create an unforgettable experience. They all stayed on-site in the farm’s accommodation.

The group activities on offer to employees were a mix of adventure and relaxation options. These included pub quizzes, Bingo Lingo, It’s a Knockout, karaoke, yoga, flower crown making, laser tag, sports massages, and free team lunches, dinners and beverages. They were designed to be fun, and boost collaboration and wellbeing.

Chris Robertson, chief executive officer of Creditsafe, took to the DJ decks to perform as a special highlight. There were also other live performances and various entertainment options.

The celebration followed Creditsafe’s relocation from Caerphilly Business Park to its new headquarters at Cardiff Gate Business Park earlier this year. It also has offices in Cardiff Bay, Dublin and London.

In a LinkedIn post about the event Creditsafe wrote: “With delicious food and great company all around, this retreat is not just a reward for our team, but a reminder of what makes Creditsafe such a unique place to work.”

This is not the first time the firm has rewarded its staff by taking them on a trip. To mark its 25th anniversary, it took its entire workforce on an all-expenses-paid trip to Alcudia in Spain and held celebrations around all of its offices.

We think this sounds like a great way of rewarding staff and celebrating an organisation’s successes!
