Automotive business Iveco Group has launched a global benefits, total reward and communication platform for its workforce spread across 27 countries.

Through its partnership with Benify, Iveco Group staff can now access their benefits through an app at any point, while the business can also use the platform to increase awareness and engagement through communication.

Staff can access total reward statements, which include details about salary, discounts, insurances and annual leave, as well as receiving a flexible benefits spending account so they can enrol in new benefits whenever they want.

Iveco Group employees can access the platform before their first day to order work phones or laptops and read up on the firm’s policies. Departing staff can also use it to take part in digital exit forms and questionnaires.

Iveco introduced the platform as it recognised a need for increased communication of its employee benefits and a unified experience for its global workforce. After conducting detailed research, it chose Benify to deliver its app-based solution to the UK, France, Poland, Belgium, Czech Republic and Argentina, and will continue rolling it out in other European and South American countries during 2023.

Rob Gerdes, head of rewards and pensions at Iveco Group, said: “The pandemic has emphasised the need to deliver a consumer-grade experience to our workforce. We reviewed the market and Benify was our clear choice when it came to strengthening the communication of our employee benefits. We are excited to deliver a single mobile app-based experience to employees in 27 countries across the world to maximise engagement and participation.”

Earlier this year, Iveco Group awarded its Italian employees with a bonus in their February salaries, with average gross amounts between 650 and 1,850 euros. The payments were related to the performance of each production unit during 2022 and were aimed at enhancing employees’ contribution towards its profitability objectives.
