UK PR agency Lem-uhn has introduced a work-from-anywhere scheme in which employees can work outside the UK for 45 days per year.
Employees are permitted to work in any country where the UK has a double taxation agreement.
According to the agency, which wants to build not only a happier team but a better one, the scheme was the one benefit both employees and potential employees asked for above anything else.
It introduced the scheme as it believes that travel builds key PR skills, such as creativity, relationship building, problem solving and organisation, and that a happier mind, adventure and experiencing cultures provide a good opportunity to feed employees’ creativity.

Lem-uhn additionally offers its employees a menstrual policy which entitles them to paid leave for menstruation, menopause and miscarriage, in addition to its existing sick leave entitlements. Staff accrue an additional 10 days of paid personal leave per year for menstruation, menopause discomfort or in the event of a miscarriage, and they can also take two wellbeing days annually with one day’s notice, to prioritise their mental health.
