IT and communications organisation Daisy Corporate Services (DCS) has launched a new gym and fitness discount benefit for its 1,200 UK-based staff.

The new benefit, provided by Gympass, was implemented on 23 August 2019 to help empower the organisation's geographically dispersed workforce to focus on physical and mental health, by providing discounted access to more than 2,000 fitness facilities across the UK.

DCS staff, who operate across 30 national locations, now have the opportunities to attend any gym or studio within Gympass’ network at a discounted membership rate.

DCS will be working with Gympass to communicate the new benefit to staff, using digital channels, live webinars and wellbeing content to encourage take-up.

Damien Russell, HR director at DCS, said: “We strive to look after every aspect of our employees’ health, understanding that there needs to be a focus on both mental and physical health to avoid disruption to day-to-day productivity.

“We are continuously looking at ways to support staff in remaining healthy; be it through wellness schemes, encouraging a good work-life balance, or even going as far as providing access to trained professionals to discuss health concerns, financial advice or family worries.

“Our latest partnership with Gympass is part of our desire to demonstrate that we are serious about the health and wellbeing of our employees. We know that access to physical activity plays a huge part in employee wellbeing and in the past, we’ve struggled to find a corporate gym scheme that translates across all of our office locations.

“Gympass’ vast network of fitness facilities around the country provides a unique solution. The flexibility of the service means all our employees can choose from leisure facilities up and down the country, across multiple price brackets, ensuring everyone can find the perfect fitness solution and activity for them.”
