Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker BMS Group has appointed Ali Trauttmansdorff group chief people officer.
Trauttmansdorff, who will be based in London, will report to Nick Cook, chief executive officer of BMS Group, and join the executive committee.
In her role, Trauttmansdorff will be focused on supporting the group’s merger and acquisition ambitions by ensuring that it has robust onboarding, integration and talent management processes as it brings new employees into the business.
She will also lead the attraction of new talent and its development, enhance wellbeing and reward strategies, and focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. Trauttmansdorff will additionally make culture and belonging, fostering diversity of thought, and providing high quality employee experiences and advancement, a key feature of her work.
Trauttmansdorff was recently chief human resources officer of a US global wealth and alternatives manager, and has also held senior and global HR positions at Goldman Sachs, and Rothschild and Co.
