Global immigration services provider Fragomen has hired Salvador Malo as its new chief people officer as of this month (October).
Malo, who has more than 25 years of experience devising and leading on HR and business strategy, and talent management, will be leading the people team by helping to drive a strategy of attracting, developing and retaining talent to create strong client service teams and what it hopes is an appealing career environment for staff.
According to Fragomen, he will play a key role in implementing and refining #FragomenWorks, which is the name of the business’ recently launched hybrid working model, and will also further the organisation’s diversity and inclusion initiative to ensure that it has transparent and inclusive processes and practices to support its more than 4,500 employees across the world.
Regarding his most recent role, he was the global head of HR strategy for Microsoft, where he worked with the organisation’s HR centres of excellence, line HR, and the chief human resources officer, and was involved in a changing stream of work to address HR issues and opportunities impacting the entire company.
