Knutsford, UK-based global commercialisation partner for the modern life sciences Fishawack Health has appointed Elizabeth (Liz) Landon to the newly formed role of chief people officer.
Starting last month (October), Landon is responsible for driving a company-wide culture focused on recruiting and retaining talent, while leading an international team of HR, talent, and learning and development professionals. She will help to build teams featuring the best clinical and commercial experts.
According to the business, she will play a role in continuously evaluating its organic growth, talent development and acquisition approach to ensure it evolves with a united culture. She will deliver a “first-class” employee experience from recruitment to hire, career progression, and exit.
Landon began her career at Accenture, a global consulting firm with more than 500,000 employees, where she worked as a management consultant to develop business, organisational and communications strategies while driving diversity and equity, human performance, and change management. She then transitioned to global managing director of talent management, where she oversaw various aspects of the workforce architecture, from capability planning to employee retention and engagement.
For the past six years, she has led the human resources functions in the non-profit sector at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and then at international human rights organisation Heartland Alliance.
