Nelsons, which owns the natural healthcare brands Rescue and Bach, has launched financial wellbeing assistance for its more than 220 UK employees in order to support them with the rising cost of living.
Provided by Bippit, the platform includes unlimited access to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated financial coaches, matched according to the needs of each member of staff, as well as a suite of financial wellbeing tools.
Nelsons employees will be able to access monthly wellbeing workshops run by FCA coaches that cover topics including pensions, protection and budgeting. There is no cost or tax implication, as it is P11D exempt.
According to the business, it understood the need to offer financial wellbeing and coaching to its workforce, and the cost-of-living crisis really accelerated its search for this kind of support.
Brodie Hibberd, HR business partner at Nelsons, said: “For Nelsons as a business, it was really important that we paid for the full service, rather than the employee. It’s great that Bippit is P11D exempt for employees and is free for all, as if the employee has to pay to use the benefit, it normally means the high earners take advantage of it and the low earners don't or cannot afford to take it up.
“We wanted to make sure what we provide is available to everyone, not just those who could afford it. The main draw for us was that every coach was FCA regulated and actually matched to the employee depending on the employees needs and circumstances. We are really excited for all of our team to get started and feel financial coaching is something that matches the values of the organisation and simply the right thing to do.”
