OneFamily

Financial services provider OneFamily has introduced financial wellbeing and education support for its 400 employees.

OneFamily employees will be able to access expert-led financial support, provided by financial wellbeing platform Bippit. This includes being matched with a dedicated financial coach with Financial Conduct Authority-recognised qualifications for one-to-one support via video call or messaging. Coaches can help with budgeting, debt management and investment guidance, as well as personalised money management plans to help staff make the most of their pay.

Employees will also be able to access targeted learning resources, interactive pensions, protection and budgeting workshops, and information on the potential benefits of salary and bonus sacrifice arrangements. Financial experts and coaches will provide free tailored pensions guidance, and whether a salary sacrifice scheme would help to maximise pension savings.

OneFamily is aiming to make support personal for a workforce at every stage of life, from those at the start of their careers to staff approaching retirement. It decided to implement a dedicated financial wellbeing strategy based on workforce feedback. In an internal survey, employees highlighted financial wellbeing as a top priority due to the current cost-of-living crisis.

As its team is diverse in ages and roles, the organisation felt it was essential to have flexible benefit programmes that can support anyone, regardless of background and lifestage.

Lindsay Taylor-King, people director at OneFamily, said: “As a mutual, OneFamily supports its customers through products and services that can help improve their lives and become more financially resilient. We have that same commitment to our employees and so we’re really pleased to be able to offer this service through Bippit.

“Ensuring employees are happy at work is vital and an important part of this is offering benefits that genuinely improve people’s lives. We believe Bippit will be a flagship benefit for us and I look forward to seeing our employees benefit from the free financial guidance and personalised support it offers.”
