Central Co-op has launched a new financial wellbeing benefit that allows its 7,500 employees to access their earnings between paydays and offers financial guidance.

The retail co-operative society has partnered with MHR to launch iTrent Financial Wellbeing benefit, powered by Wagestream, as part of its wider ‘We’ve Got You’ wellbeing campaign.

The new benefit will allow employees to access up to 50% of their earned pay at any time during pay cycles, and offers professional financial guidance to help them manage their personal finances.

It also offers tools to monitor financial health and progress, and a competitive interest rate for saving money.

Central Co-op is running webinars for employees and managers on how the benefits works. The programme will be hosted on the employer’s centralised platform, Difference Maker Hub, which offers recognition and rewards, resources, and discounts at hundreds of retailers.
