EXCLUSIVE: Cubitts introduces financial wellbeing platform for staff

cubittsEXCLUSIVE: Glasses maker Cubitts has launched a financial wellbeing platform for its more than 150 members of staff.

The platform, provided by Bippit, offers employees access one-to-one financial coaching from a regulated and impartial professional matched to their needs, after answering a series of questions about their financial concerns.

The service also provides personalised learning resources, monthly webinars on topics such as pensions and protection, and tools and calculators to track goals, analyse spending, and review financial health checks. The service is free of charge for employees and has no tax implications.

According to Cubitts, a recent survey reviewing the internal benefits it offers found that staff wanted access to a financial wellbeing platform. It also wanted to give its employees another tool that they can use to understand their finances better, both in the short and long term.

Emilie Rytter Dahl, community lead at Cubitts, said: “Cubitts has grown a lot, and so we need to respond to the changing needs of our employees if we want to attract and retain talent. It’s important that we ask ourselves how we can take care of people as a company. How can we build a toolkit of benefits that people can use to create the life they want?

“Bippit, and all the resources it offers, felt like it would work really well for our team’s varying needs right now. The fact that you can get one-on-one time with a financial professional is a really valuable aspect of the partnership. The platform is easy to use and fully mobile. It’s so accessible for everyone. You’re never unsure of what to do or how it works.”
