EXCLUSIVE: Marketing agency BD Network has launched a new wellbeing benefit for its 50 London-based employees, aiming to support staff wellness and facilitate fitness opportunities.
The new benefit, provided by GoSweat, was implemented on Friday 2 August 2019. It provides each member of staff with their own GoSweat account, which is pre-loaded with £30 in credit every month, paid for by the employer. This credit can then be used by staff to purchase a choice of a wide variety of wellbeing experiences, such as yoga or boxing classes, spa passes or gym access, at locations across the UK.
The benefit was announced during BD Network’s monthly combined all-employee meeting and drinks social, as a surprise to reward staff. Representatives from GoSweat joined the meeting and provided an interactive demonstration, explaining how employees will be able to use their new wellbeing accounts.

This was followed with an email on Monday 5 August 2019, which provided employees with a link to activate their personal accounts, pre-loaded with their first £30 credit.
Allan McLaughlin, chief executive officer at BD Network, said: “At BD [Network], our people are our business so it is imperative that we provide them with support in their wellbeing, and having GoSweat as our partner enables us to facilitate employee fun, as well as fitness, which alongside [the] other support we offer, should result in a happier, fitter and healthier workforce.”
