Time is running out to enter the Employee Benefits Awards 2019, with the extended entry deadline of Monday 14 January 2019 fast approaching.
The categories available for entry cover various topics, including engagement, healthcare and wellbeing, mental health strategy, motivation and communication.
Awards that focus on engagement in the workplace include Best benefits to support diversity and inclusion, Most motivational benefits and Best employee engagement strategy.
The award for Best benefits to support diversity and inclusion will recognise an employer that supports the varying needs of its employees and removes barriers that prevent staff from performing at their best.
Most motivational benefits will celebrate an employer that effectively uses incentives or rewards to boost the employee experience, while Best employee engagement strategy will go to an organisation that has used benefits as part of its approach to improving loyalty, retention and investment in the employer brand.
The event looks to recognise all types of employer, with categories such as Best benefits communications - small employer and Best benefits communications - large employer ensuring that all sizes of organisation are equally represented. The winners in these categories will demonstrate an effective and innovative approach to benefits communications, with quantifiable results.
Specific types of benefits will also be recognised through categories such as Best staff travel initiatives. For this award, the judges will be looking for a successful strategy that has made staff travel schemes, active commute campaigns, company cars or allowances effective.
The Employee Benefits Awards 2019 also celebrate individual and team achievements, with free-to-enter categories including Employee benefits professional of the year, Rising star, and Employee benefits team of the year.
The Rising star award will be given to an individual who has been in the industry no more than five years, but has made a considerable impact in that time. Employee benefits professional of the year, nominations for which should be sent to eb.editorial@centaur.co.uk, will recognise an individual who has made a substantial mark on the industry.
In order to win the Benefits team of the year award, in-house teams will need to showcase how they have worked together to deliver benefits that meet the needs and strategies of their organisation.
The awards event, in association with Aon, is now in its 17th year and offers organisations the opportunity to showcase the significant contribution they are making through their benefits strategies.
The winners will be announced at the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party, which will be held on Friday 7 June 2019 at The Pavilion at the Tower of London, where industry professionals will have the opportunity to network and celebrate best practice and innovation at an iconic location.
Make sure your organisation is in with a chance to win by submitting your entry by the final deadline of 5pm on Monday 14 January 2019.
