EXCLUSIVE: Dommy Szymanska, global head of pay and reward at fashion brand Stella McCartney, will be participating in a panel talk about benefits and HR strategy on Thursday 7 October at Employee Benefits Live 2021.
Szymanska will be joining the session titled ‘Reimagining the future of work and benefits’ on the second day of the two-day event. The conversation will focus on strategising the future of benefits for a hybrid working world, creating and implementing new strategies and policies that work for employees and the business, and utilising data effectively to track the impact of new rewards for remote workers.
The discussion will provide delegates with new ways of working in the post Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic world, what can be expected following this, and practical learnings from Szymanska’s own experience at Stella McCartney.
Szymanska plans to talk about how important it is to have diverse and inclusive benefits on offer.
“I would also like to discuss employee engagement and how this can be improved in the future, when the teams are working remotely or using the hybrid model for example. I would also love to add my view from a younger workforce perspective, on what I see as the trends, what has been successful,” she said.
Szymanska explained that she wants attendees to be inspired and learn that benefits are not just standard private medical care or life insurance.
“I hope they believe that there are little actions that the employer can take to improve employee engagement, as well as learning how the pandemic has affected mine and everyone else’s benefits strategy,” she concluded.
Another panellist for this session will be Josephina Smith, reward director at market research organisation YouGov.
Employee Benefits Live 2021 will take place on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 October 2021 at The ExCeL London.
