Components and solutions manufacturer Essentra Components, management, engineering and development consultancy Mott MacDonald and digital communications firm Cisco Systems have been named as some of the UK’s Best Employers for 2025 by the Financial Times.
In partnership with Statista, the Financial Times surveyed 20,000 UK full-time and part-time employees, asking them to rate their employers across working conditions, pay, potential for development, and image. This took place through a short anonymous survey about their organisation, during which staff answered whether they would recommend their employer to friends and family and evaluated others in their industry that stood out. From this, each organisation received a ranking.
The findings highlighted that most the frequently appearing sector was healthcare and social, followed by banking and financial services, business services and supplies, and retail and wholesale.
Essentra was one of the most highly recommended employers in the UK and was recognised on the best employers list due to its working conditions, salary, development, and employer image.
