Social housing provider Stonewater has launched a multi-media campaign aimed at recognising diverse employees contributing to its success and reflecting served communities.

Called People Like Me, the campaign will highlight the equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) experiences and career journeys of employees across the organisation through personal stories, videos, blogs and thought leadership content.

It will also shine a spotlight on individuals who embody Stonewater’s values, which include women thriving in traditionally male-dominated fields, and mental health first aiders discussing the importance of workplace support.

The aim of the campaign is to inspire conversations across the housing sector and demonstrate how inclusion can lead to more effective services for customers and communities. As part of its social purpose and EDI drive, Stonewater’s goal is to address challenges such as workforce diversity and inclusive service delivery.

Cordelia Johnny, head of EDI at Stonewater, said: “Equality, diversity and inclusion aren’t just ideals, they’re integral to how we work, how we innovate, and how we make a difference. The People Like Me campaign celebrates the real-life stories of our employees who are helping to drive change and enrich our organisation.

“By recognising and amplifying voices that are often underrepresented, this campaign provides a platform for authentic stories, showing how diversity strengthens our organisation and benefits the communities we serve. We hope to inspire others within and beyond our sector to prioritise EDI in meaningful ways and spark a broader conversation about the value of inclusion.”

Stonewater also offers its employees a specialist house shared-ownership product, a retirement savings plan with an up to 7% matched contribution rate, life assurance worth 3.5 times contractual pay, 24/7 access to a confidential counselling helpline, a health cash plan, discounts on shopping, travel and optical, an up to £10,000 interest-free loan for home work spaces, a bikes-for-work scheme, 26 days of annual leave that rises with service, an annual company day, and values award celebration events.
