The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has launched a payroll application (app).
Its Payroll Factapp, which is available on Apple and Android smartphones, contains payroll information, including tax facts and figures relevant to every pay period.
The CIPP Factapp also includes:
- Tax rates, including the new rates in relation to auto-enrolment.
- Company cars.
- National insurance (NI) thresholds.
- Statutory payments and deductions.
- Key dates.
- Links to the CIPP website and contact details for further information, as well as links to other practical payroll and pensions sources.
Vickie Moss, associate director of marketing and business development at the CIPP, said: “We hope that tech-savvy payroll and pensions professionals will take advantage of its accessible and convenient format to obtain useful tax information.
“It is a great reference tool and can be used wherever one has access to their phone.”
