Daryl Maitland (pictured), head of HR strategy at Cafcass, will share a case study about how Cafcass tackled sickness absence at Employee Benefits Live.
Maitland said: “We’ve gone from an average of 16.2 sick days for social work staff to seven days.”
Maitland hopes delegates will take away an understanding of the multi-faceted approach needed to achieve high wellbeing and engagement, along with some practical and implementable ideas for their organisations.
He added: “The session will focus on transforming organisational culture from one of high sickness and low engagement, to one of high attendance, wellbeing and engagement.”
Employee Benefits Live will take place at Olympia National in London on 24 and 25 September 2014.
