Busy Bees, the childcare provider, has moved back into the childcare voucher market with the launch of Busy Bees Benefits.
Busy Bees sold its original childcare voucher business to Computershare in 2008, and under the terms of the deal Busy Bees agreed not to offer childcare vouchers under the Busy Bees brand.
John Woodward, one of the original founders of Busy Bees, said: “Over the past few years, the nursery business has gone from strength to strength and the new childcare voucher offer will again help parents make the cost of our childcare provision more affordable.”
The Busy Bees Benefits childcare voucher can be used for all forms of registered childcare but parents receive an extra discount if they use them at a Busy Bees Group nursery. The group now runs 129 nurseries and provides childcare for over 14,000 children.
Woodward explained that an important feature of the Busy Bees offer is the security of funds. “Employers, parents and carers want to know that their funds are safe. We use a trust account for funds and do not use voucher monies to support our day to day business.”
The new Busy Bees childcare voucher offering is the first stage of development for the benefits business, with a wider a wide range of other employee benefits in the offing.
