HMRC has recently released details of the flexible furlough scheme, which starts in July 2020.

The new scheme comes into effect after the 1st July and means that employees can now work for some of the week and be furloughed for the rest.

If your business is planning on making use of the flexible furlough scheme, it is vital that you keep records of how many hours your employees have worked.

You must also consider the number of employees you can put on furlough as well as checking which employees qualify for the scheme.

Only employees that you have successfully furloughed before will be eligible for more grants under the new scheme.
