Brown Shipley, a Quintet private bank, has appointed Cara Walters as head of HR, with immediate effect.
Based in London, Walters serves as a member of the Brown Shipley Executive Committee and reports to chief executive officer Calum Brewster. She is also a member of Quintet’s Group HR leadership team, reporting to Siegfried Marissens, group head of HR.
Walters has more than two decades of HR experience in the UK and Asia, including in senior leadership roles.
Most recently, she was the London-based head of HR business partners and head of HR operations at Charles Stanley. Prior to this, she served as the Singapore-based head of HR, Asia, at Coutts, focusing on employee engagement and business change programmes. Walters began her career in 2002 as an HR business partner at Deutsche Bank and then held progressively senior HR roles at Morgan Stanley, MF Global and AIG.
