Global defence and security firm BAE Systems has introduced a payroll and HR management system for its UK employees.
The system, provided by technology service organisations Logica and Oracle, is aimed at supporting BAE Systems’ workplace priorities, including employee engagement and performance, efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
Haydn Clulow, HR director, transformation at BAE Systems, said: “We recognise our business needs both agility and flexibility if it is to respond successfully to our changing market landscape.”
Gary Bullard, president of Logica in the UK, added: “Changing workforce demographics, increased economic pressures and evolving business priorities are just some of the factors that HR teams must analyse and respond to.†
“Employee performance and appropriate resourcing can mean the difference between success and failure, so HR needs to be at the top of any organisation’s priorities.”
