Business in the Community (BITC) has launched the Workwell Benchmark to measure FTSE 100 organisations’ management of employee wellbeing and engagement in the workplace.
The benchmark will be based on a questionnaire, which covers areas such as leadership and management, occupational health and wellbeing promotions, and employee engagement.
Paul Litchfield, chair of the Workwell Steering Group, said: “The Workwell questionnaire captures evidence of both activity and impact in this area.
“It examines the key drivers of employee engagement and wellbeing, and represents a novel approach to the assessment of human capital management.”
All FTSE 100 organisations have been invited to complete the questionnaire, which is open for completion from 25 September to 25 November 2012. Results of the questionnaire will be published in April 2013.
