Almost all, (92%) of Lumo Energy’s 500 employees feel engaged following its introduction of an employee engagement and recognition programme earlier this year.
Its programme, ‘Luminosity- Rewarding Awesomeness’, also received an initial participation rate of 100%.
The scheme, provided by Power2Motivate, was designed to actively engage Lump Energy staff with the organisation’s values and reward them based on a variety of criteria, such as length of service and value-driven awards. Staff are also recognised on their birthday.
Employees are also encouraged to suggest new ways that the programme could be used.
Kerrie Erskine, remuneration and benefits manager at Lumo Energy, said: “High employee engagement helps a business thrive, and at Lumo Energy, we believe one of the cornerstones of employee engagement is recognition for the work we do, the way we interact with each other and most importantly the way we service our customers.
“We have a strong belief that our values should underpin everything we do so we recognise employees that demonstrate behaviours consistent with our values through our Luminosity programme.”
