Zenith Provecta employees have taken part in fundraising activities and a local volunteering project.

The fleet provider raised more than £1,100 for the automotive industry charity BEN through fundraising activities such as a barbecue, quiz, raffle, and an auction selling unused IT equipment to employees.

Ian Hughes, commercial director at Zenith Provecta, said: “BEN is our nominated charity for this year and we will be holding several fundraising events to help support them and the fantastic work that they do.

“It was a pleasure to raise money for the charity and we look forward to holding further events throughout the year.”

Zenith Provecta has also joined forces with the social business group Leeds Ahead to work on a local volunteer project.

Employees from Zenith Provecta helped to improve and regenerate a conservation area that was in need of support. Volunteers were tasked with maintenance of the area, filling in holes, cutting back overgrown vegetation, building a fence and generally tidying up.

The project is in line with the firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy of ensuring that its business practices have positive impacts on the community and the environment.

Hughes added: “The team had a very rewarding day out. Their work to improve the path and its surroundings will have a huge impact on the area and the local community.

“They are all, quite rightly, very proud of their achievement and we are delighted that our employees are able to volunteer for such a worthwhile cause.”
