Law firm DMH Stallard will award all of its employees and partners a discretionary bonus of £2,000.

The firm has had a strong financial year, with revenue expected to reach nearly £50 million this year. As a result, the equity partners voted to award an extra bonus to all staff to recognise their contributions.

This bonus payment is in addition to performance-related bonuses the firm paid out earlier in the year, bringing the total annual bonus payments to £2.2 million. It set itself a target of £48 million for 2025/26.

Richard Pollins, managing partner at DMH Stallard, said: “Bonus payments for the last financial year are, therefore, the equivalent to around 22% of our profit per equity partner, which I think compares favourably with other firms, especially as we increased pay by an average of 4% earlier this year and will review pay again in April.”

Amanda Smith, HR director at DMH Stallard, added: “At DMH Stallard, we deeply value the hard work and commitment shown by every member of our team. We hope that the bonus is warmly received and helps all team members to have a truly relaxing and enjoyable festive break.”

DMH Stallard is committed to building a genuinely inclusive and supportive workplace. A staff survey revealed that 99.6% of staff said it is a great place to work, with 90% feeling they have a strong work-life balance, and 93.9% expressing confidence in leadership.

The firm also offers its employees hybrid working arrangements, private healthcare, life assurance, a holiday purchase scheme to buy up to one additional week of annual leave, an employee assistance programme, legal work discounts, a bikes-for-work scheme, season ticket loans, and an employee discount platform.
