Volvo Car UK has introduced eycare e-vouchers for employees who drive at work.
The car manfacturer started offering the e-vouchers, provided by Specsavers Eyecare, in November 2014.
Employees who use the e-voucher, which covers the cost of a full eye examination, can print it out or present it on a smartphone device.
Users of the e-voucher, which covers the cost of a full eye examination, can print it out or present it on a smartphone device.
If the employee is found to require corrected vision for driving, they will be offered glasses, the cost of which is automatically covered by the voucher. Those not requiring corrected vision to drive will be able to choose a pair of non-prescription sunglasses, also covered under the cost of the voucher.
Selwyn Cooper, head of business sales for Volvo Car UK, said: “We were pleased to hear about their plans to introduce an e-voucher aimed specifically at driver eyecare and agreed that we would implement this voucher for our business sales field team as soon as it became available.
