Kings-College-London-2014

London universities, such as King’s College London, London School of Economics and University College London, are to launch an interactive pensions website.

The Superannuation Arrangements of the University of London (SAUL) will make the website available to its 54 participating employers, more than 36,000 pension scheme members and other stakeholders.

SAUL provides pensions to non-academic employees of the University of London and employees of other organisations with links to higher education.

The website, which is to be developed by Shilling, aims to encourage pension members to engage with information, resources and tools to help them understand their pension benefits.

It will launch later in 2014 to tie in with SAUL’s plan to introduce a full self-service experience to its members and employers.

Richard Hill-Tout, communications manager for SAUL Trustee Company, said: “The trustee understands the importance of the SAUL website in member engagement and education.

“Having listened to our members, our goal is to transform how we communicate by creating a site that’s engaging, interactive and tailored to their needs.”
