EB Awards 2024

Lloyds Banking Group and food and beverage organisation PepsiCo UK and Ireland have been shortlisted for the Best benefits to support work-life balance award at the Employee Benefits Awards 2025.

The award was introduced for 2023, then known as Best benefits to support work-life balance and hybrid working. Sponsored by Tastecard and Ello, it recognises strategies that offer greater flexibility to help support employees manage their lives outside work, as well as their own wellbeing and wider workplace experience.

The full category shortlist is:

  • Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust
  • Larking Gowen
  • Lincoln College Group
  • Lloyds Banking Group
  • PepsiCo UK and Ireland
  • Robert Bosch / Robert Bosch UK Holdings
  • Sopra Steria

Last year, Central Co-op won the accolade. It was praised due to its WorkFlex and hybrid working schemes, which was devised based on employee suggestions. Employees can choose to work a four-day week, nine-day fortnight or a selection of the two on a compressed hours basis. Meanwhile, office-based staff can work one day a week in the office, with anything above this based on personal preference and job need.

The judges said: “One of the stand-out entries [due to] the sheer range of what it has done.”

The Employee Benefits Awards, which is now in its 22nd year, will be held on Friday 14 June at the Honourable Artillery Company, London. It celebrates HR, reward and benefits professionals and teams displaying excellence through their reward and benefits strategies.

The daytime event is set to include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with industry professionals. Meanwhile, the after-party will include live music in the venue’s private grounds.
