Multinational food firm Kraft Heinz and AI-powered learning and skills platform Thrive Learning have been shortlisted for Best financial wellbeing strategy – small employer at the Employee Benefits Awards 2025.
The financial wellbeing category recognises the work of employers, with fewer than 1,500 staff, that have taken a proactive approach to their employees’ financial needs and support staff to make positive financial, retirement or investment-related benefits decisions. It celebrates employers that improved and assisted their employees’ financial wellbeing during 2024.
The full category shortlist is:
- Kraft Heinz
- Thrive Learning
Last year, the award was won by Telegraph Media Group. It was recognised due to its financial wellbeing programme that promotes financial stability and security, and nurtures a financially-confident workforce. This includes accessible financial information and professional guidance on financial topics relevant to employees’ personal circumstances, that can be adapted to meet their changing needs.
The judges said: “The strategy was diverse with a range of financial wellbeing tools to support employees.”
A Telegraph Media Group spokesperson added: “We work hard to make sure all our workforce is aware of the financial wellbeing options they have and constantly broadcast them. We’ve had great feedback for employees. We focus on what our people want and try to offer support to help with this.”
Now in its 23rd year, the Employee Benefits Awards celebrates individuals and teams displaying excellence through their reward and benefits strategies. It will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 27 June.
The daytime event will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with industry professionals. The after-party will include live music in the venue’s private grounds.
