Creative agency Creature and Co has introduced financial wellbeing and education support for its 25 employees.
Creature and Co, which is part of Creature Media, makes content for families and has been custodians of Nat Geo Kids magazine for 20 years.
Its employees will now have access to a range of support initiatives, provided by financial wellbeing platform Bippit.. These include unlimited access to professional coaches with Financial Conduct Authority-recognised qualifications, which are free at the point of use; personalised money management plans to help them and their households make the most of their pay and total reward package; targeted learning resources, and interactive pensions, protection and budgeting workshops.
Employees will also be able to access pensions education and information on the potential benefits of salary and bonus sacrifice arrangements. Financial experts and coaches will provide free tailored pensions guidance to help employees understand if they have enough in their pension pot for a comfortable retirement, and whether a salary sacrifice scheme would be tax-efficient with their income to maximise pension savings.
By implementing the platform, Creature and Co wanted to provide genuine support for employees at a personal level, with empathy, care and purpose. Its goals were to support staff during tough financial times, and help to reduce financial stress by offering a safe, empathetic space to talk through their money concerns.
It also wanted to improve overall wellbeing and culture, making money an open conversation rather than a source of fear or stigma, and to engage staff more deeply, with both finances and its values.
Lucy Vi, financial controller at Creature and Co, said: “We wanted a service delivered from a much more empathetic perspective and with a lot more heart, which aligns with Creature Media’s culture of caring for people. With things being so tough in the world these days financially, we wanted to be able to offer our staff meaningful support that improves wellbeing and reduces financial stress.”
