A team of employees from benefits and pensions communication firm Shilling Communication has completed a charity trek across the Sahara.

The employees trekked across the Jebel Saghro region of Morocco, raising £5,000 to be split between three charities: Ministry to Children, Unicef and Sol Kids.

Katie Frost, director of Shilling Communication, said: “Every year we set a challenge to raise money for charities and causes close to our hearts, but this year was particularly significant because of the high quality of applications we received.

“We are extremely proud of the four employees who volunteered for this tough, but worthy, challenge. It is a testament to the spirit of teamwork, commitment, personal and professional development, and social responsibility that we foster at Shilling.”
