Employee engagement consultancy scarlettabbott has appointed Laura Hutchinson as its new HR manager.
Joining from her previous role as HR and recruitment officer at York-based charity Family Fund, Hutchinson will be supporting the whole of scarlettabbott’s consultancy across its growing York and London offices and remote working teams.
According to the organisation, Hutchinson is a “highly organised multitasker” with 13 years of experience in HR roles. She specialises in employee relations, performance management, policy development, benefits administration and recruitment.
Previously, she supported and worked with companies across a variety of industries, including retail and construction. She has held various HR roles for William Thompson, Del Monte, Costcutter and Shepherd Group.
Scarlettabbott managing director Jeremy Petty explained that it is an “exciting” time for the company, which has recently recruited eight new team members to support its growing portfolio of global internal communications projects following a host of new client wins.
“We’re delighted that, through our focus on deepening our partnerships with our key clients, together with some new client wins, we’ve been able to create so many new roles, further strengthening our expertise and delivery across the team,” Petty said.
He added that with the spotlight falling on employee engagement as a key priority for newly hybrid companies in the months ahead, scarlettabbott is busier than ever, and Hutchinson’s expertise will be “pivotal” as the consultancy continues to hire new talent and support the existing team.
