RSM International has formalised its international secondment programme for staff across its 73 member firms worldwide, to give guidance to those wishing to work at another member firm.

The audit, tax and consulting network has over 24,000 staff working in 630 offices worldwide, and the programme has been designed to develop specialist skills; increase awareness of international services; and enhance professional development.

Warren Gurtman who is based in the New York office has been appointed as director of international secondments. He will work with staff and member firms to facilitate the secondment process, ensuring the objectives and aims of the secondment are aligned with RSM's regional and global strategies.

Jean Stephens, ceo of RSM International, said: "Our secondment programme endorses RSM's commitment to be the active partner with energetic, growing international companies, and to provide a rewarding work environment for our staff. Our member firms recognise the advantages a secondee brings to their business, and understand the value international experience brings to their people and their firm."
