Employee engagement organisation Reward Gateway has acquired the UK business of voluntary benefits provider LogBuy.
LogBuy, which was founded in 2005, provides benefits programme to more than 200 organisations in the UK, including Philips Electronics and Laing O'Rouke.
Reward Gateway and LogBuy have worked to bring their benefits programmes together in order to give employers access to a 24/7 employee help desk, as well as a product range, which includes reward and recognition products, employee communications, wellbeing schemes and SmartHub, an integrated employee engagement platform.
This acquisition is the sixth that has taken place in the RG Engagement Group's portfolio, funded by a $220 million investment by Boston-based financiers Great Hill Partners.
Glenn Elliott (pictured above far left), founder and chief executive officer at Reward Gateway, said: "We're looking for any opportunity to make the world a happier place to work, and today's news means that the employees of over 200 [organisations] that use LogBuy will have access to a wider range of rewards, and the tools to thank and recognise each other.
"Reward Gateway has got great financial backing and a wonderful, engaged client base that we can help with more products and services. We've got some fantastic opportunities ahead to bring more to our [employer] clients in a really coherent way that is great for them and their employees."
