Investment consultancy Redington has promoted Katherine FitzGerald as its first chief people officer, joining its executive leadership team.

FitzGerald joined Redington as head of people in 2020 and leads all aspects of the firm’s people operations, including culture, wellbeing and engagement, recruitment and onboarding, alongside performance management.

According to the employer, it created the role of chief people officer to reflect its continued focus on maintaining an open and inclusive culture that allows employees to thrive, driving better outcomes for its people, clients and end-beneficiaries.

FitzGerald has 20 years of experience, as well as people and leadership expertise. Prior to joining Redington, she held a number of senior people and strategy roles.
