Last year, Tesco Stores won the Best use of benefits technology award. The judges were impressed that the organisation managed to get core reward data into the hands of thousands of employees in a way that was compelling. They believed that this achievement showed a good use of employee feedback to build a highly relevant platform, with great platform engagement results and positive environmental results, too.
Louise Pocock, head of pensions, pay and benefits communications at Tesco, said: “We’re really happy to win. We’d put a lot of time and effort into thinking about our total reward, and it was a real company-wide effort collaboration to create it.”
Lead benefits manager Paul Hunt added: “It feels really great to be recognised and we’re really proud.”
The 20th annual Employee Benefits Awards ceremony will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 24 June. Comedian Simon Brodkin, best known as his alter ego Lee Nelson, will be hosting the event, where reward, benefits and HR professionals will have the chance to celebrate the work carried out during 2021.
Guests can look forward to a champagne reception, three-course lunch and an after-party that will include live music, dodgems, a carousel and a big wheel in the venue’s private grounds.
