Employee Benefits has been named Pensions/Benefits Publication of the Year at the 2016 Willis Towers Watson Media Awards, winning the accolade for the second year in a row.
The annual industry media awards, now in its eleventh year, recognises excellence in business journalism, focusing on the areas of HR, pensions, benefits and institutional investment.
Louise Fordham, deputy editor of Employee Benefits, also won the HR Technology Journalist of the Year category.
The winners of the Willis Towers Watson Media Awards were announced yesterday (13 July) during an evening ceremony at the Willis Towers Watson offices in central London.
The Publication of the Year categories are decided by public vote, and the individual journalist categories are determined by an expert judging panel.
Nicolas Aubert, head of Willis Towers Watson for Great Britain, said: “Our panel of judges were highly impressed with the quality, diversity and engaging style of this year’s media award submissions.
“The media plays a vital role in providing analysis and commentary on the issues that matter as well as introducing new information to the industry. This year’s winners are a great example of how the media can bring difficult and important issues to the front of people’s mind and encourage solutions to be found through analysis and debate.”
