Something for the weekend: Homeware and furniture retailer Olivia's is hiring a comfort connoisseur to get paid to lie in bed.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to get cosy, sleeping in its luxury beds and daybeds, feeding back on their overall experience, scoring every bed based on comfort, size, aesthetic and durability.
Olivia's will then use this feedback to create a bed rocking review system on all of the beds its sell through its online store.
To slowly get comfortable and cosy with the new role, the new recruit will initially be reviewing two beds per month, giving them extra time to try out the comfort factor of each mattress.
The ideal candidate must have a taste for cosiness and must have access to extra space, such as a spare room for the beds and outdoor area for the daybeds.
Olivia's are keen to find their bed expert by 29 May 2020, paying them £60 an hour, contracted to ten hours per month, with the option of sleeping in for overtime.
Nick Moutter founder at Olivia’s, said: “This idea has shaped our direction for many years, even leading us to purchase our own white glove courier service to cut down on transit breakage, and this role is our most recent step towards delivering flawless customer experience.
“At Olivia’s, we have a genuine passion not just for quality, but also for fashion, and this is why finding someone with an eye for detail and aesthetics is so important. Anybody can lie on a bed and sleep, we want someone who can analyse the experience and provide detailed feedback that will serve our community of interior-obsessed customers.”
Here at Employee Benefits: We hope that the successful applicants won't get caught sleeping on the job.
