Nespresso UK and ROI has appointed Charlotte Hallett as its new head of human resources.
Hallett will be responsible for leading Nespresso’s people plan, including all HR activities, initiatives and strategies. Her key focus will be on nurturing a strong, flexible workplace culture post-Covid-19 (Coronavirus), supporting Nespresso colleagues and the business as it adapts to new work practices, and delivering positive employee experiences.
Hallett joins Nespresso’s leadership team with almost 20 years of HR and people leadership experience. She possesses “strong” expertise in all areas of HR, from organisational design and transformational change to remote people management and leadership, according to Nespresso.
Hallett previously worked at Virgin Atlantic, having joined back in 2011, where she held a number of roles including senior HR business partner, senior flight crew manager and most recently, principal flight crew manager. Prior to working at Virgin Atlantic, Charlotte held HR positions at Carnival Corporation and Russ Berrie.
Guillaume Chesneau, managing director of Nespresso UK and ROI, commented that the team is really pleased to welcome Charlotte, adding that her extensive HR experience and expertise will be “highly” valuable to the business as it continue to evolve its people strategy and deliver quality employee experiences in 2021 and beyond.

Commenting on her new role, Hallett added that she is thrilled to join Nespresso to lead the people strategy for the UK and ROI teams, as the past year has been a "significant" period of adjustment and adaptation for staff. She said she is passionate about supporting people and businesses to adapt to new ways of working, while building a strong and supportive culture throughout 2021 and post-lockdown.
