National Grid is to implement talent and compensation planning software from Towers Watson.

The software is part of the utility firm’s commitment to build a single integrated technology platform for all of its HR processes.

The first stage of implementation will include a roll-out of Towers Watson’s performance and workforce planning software. The compensation planning software will be launched in February 2013.

Helen Jenks, project director at National Grid, said: “We are delighted to have selected Towers Watson for this programme.

“The software stood out because of Towers Watson’s configurable technology, its consultancy expertise, and its flexibility to manage the programme in a way to best meet our requirements.”
