Employee Benefits poll: Almost three-quarters (73%) of employer respondents plan to offer summer perks to employees this year.

A poll of www.employeebenefits.co.uk readers, which received 33 responses, also found that 15% of respondents intend to host summer sports events for staff in 2017.

Almost one in 10 (9%) respondents will allow early finish times over the summer months, and 9% will run outdoor team activities. Just 3% of respondents will implement a more casual workplace dress code this summer, and 3% plan to provide ice-creams for staff.

However, a third (33%) of respondents intend to offer two or more of these initiatives this year.
