Bar business Incipio Group is to provide its employees with mental health training to help overcome stigma.
Incipio employees will receive mental health training from alcohol-free beer brand Lucky Saint and hospitality mental health organisation The Burnt Chef Project through a multi-year partnership. They will be upskilled on how best to recognise and approach mental health challenges across all of Incipio’s sites.
Staff will also be equipped to have confident conversations, access the right support and deliver an improved overall approach to mental wellbeing. This will support the work Incipio is already doing through its internal Inclusion Collective.
Josie Adams, people director at Incipio, said: “We’re committed to creating a culture where our team feels valued and supported. Partnering with Lucky Saint reinforces our focus on wellness, ensuring we break down barriers around mental health and equip our teams across all venues with the tools to support one another. This training means we have a healthier, more aware team. With that brings better engagement, stronger attention and a more positive culture, benefitting both our people and guests.”
Incipio Group’s employee benefits include maternity, paternity, adoption, and compassionate leave when children are ill, early access to earnings, free mental maintenance therapy, 50% off food and drink in all of its venues, a bikes-for-work scheme, access to savings, discounts and financial coaching, an enhanced pension scheme, bonuses and incentives, and the chance to earn additional holiday days after two years’ continuous service.
Salaried staff are also eligible to take up a salary sacrifice nursery scheme, and health, dental and optical insurance.
