Matches names new chief people officer

Fashion retailer Matches has appointed Clare Bishop chief people officer.

With more than 17 years of experience in senior roles across human resources, Bishop has experience in high-growth organisations.

She joins Matches from Greystar International, where she held the role of managing director, people, Europe. Prior to this, Bishop worked for organisations such as Warner Brothers, Addison Lee and Asos, where she worked as a commercial and creative people director with a demonstrated history of delivering innovative and impactful people initiatives.

Bishop said: “I am delighted to have joined Matches. I am looking forward to getting to know the team and thrilled to be working alongside Nick [Beighton] to help deliver the next phase of Matches’ strategy. Fundamental to our success will be our people and that’s where my focus will be; driving a leading employee experience via moments that matter.”
