EXCLUSIVE: Manage Health is to launch a pay-as-you-go employee assistance programme (EAP) that aims to help employers save money.

The healthcare provider has designed the EAP to provide employers with control over the services they offer staff, so that the money they spend relates directly to theiremployees’ needs.

Alyson Fennemore, director at Manage Health, said: “We wanted to put the [employer] customer back at the heart of our programme. As such, there’s no contract term, so employers can try an EAP out. If they find they’re spending more or it doesn’t work for their employees, they can stop whenever they like.

“Most employers are conflicted in their purchasing. They’re aware that you can’t get something for nothing, but are under unprecedented pressure to save money wherever they can.”

Manage Health will exhibit at Employee Benefits Live on 25 and 26 September at National Hall, Olympia, where it will also launch the EAP.
