Earlier this week I had the pleasure of judging this year’s Employee Benefits Awards. This is always a part of my job that I really enjoy. Call me nosy, but I find it fascinating seeing what organisations have put in place for their staff and the strategies behind these.
This was especially true this year while catching up on the key trends and issues from the past 12 months. Reading how organisations have adjusted their offering for employees post-pandemic, and the initiatives employers have introduced to support employees with fertility, pregnancy and menopause, for example, gave a real insight into just how much the benefits landscape has moved forward in a relatively short space of time.
Without giving too much away, across all categories we saw some really innovative schemes and initiatives offered to employees. The debates our panels of judges had really was testament to the excellent work so many employers are doing in the field of reward and benefits.
This year’s Awards shortlist will be unveiled on Monday 21 March, so keep your eyes peeled to see who made the list!
